Spring maintenance tips
& STRATHMORE REAL ESTATE.COM believes that seasonal maintenance is crucial to getting TOP Dollar for your HOME when you're ready to sell -we have created a checklist of TODOs to make it easier for you
We will start inside the home and then move outside.
|Check and clean or replace furnace air filters each month during the heating season.|
|Have fireplace or wood stove and chimney cleaned and serviced as needed.|
|Get the vacuum and hose out and get in all the nooks and corners of the furnace room to remove all the dust and dirt that's collected.|
|Have your airconditioner serviced every two or three years.|
|Clean or replace air-conditioning filter, if applicable.|
|Check dehumidifier and drain — clean if necessary.|
|Have a look at your sump pump system and ensure its functioning properly|
|Have well water tested for quality. It is recommended that you test for bacteria every six months.|
|Check smoke, carbon monoxide and security alarms, and replace batteries.
