Weekly / Monthly Real Estate Stats



Hello out there
Hope that yesterday's crazy storm didn't cause you too much grief....phones were very quiet as they tend to be when it snows.
Though sales show a decrease compared to LY overall....the news continues to be that listings are down and Days are market is still lower then last year as well.
The hope is this news will bring the buyers out to buy...

Other marketing plans include having a Parade of OpenHouses Monthly in Langdon and Strathmore.
The hope is to have as many OpenHouses as possible on the last Sunday of each month -this month will be Mar 24. 
The hope to to create " a hype " around our listings 
We tested it in Feb  with mixed reviews ...but it was a start.

CREB has created a great new report that I've shared below with you.
I've included houses but not condos 
It shows sales/listings for the month and YTD for sellers and buyers who like to keep up on trends.
The Days on market and number of listings continue to be down in all towns and Calgary as well.

As for last week,Strathmore sold 5 houses,2 in Chestermere And 1 in Langdon
 Wheatland county was softer last week with one c/s.on 56 active listings ... But we are very light in listings to show and sell.
And Rockyview has 531 active listings and 9 Solds for the week.

The small towns in wheatland county had a quiet week with no sales.
